Wild Bird Seed

Many Bird always used to in search for seed from one place to another. Wild Birds used to select food material depending on their choice. Wild Birds used to look various dimension while choosing seed for their selves.  They used to select on the basis of easy reach ability, easy cracked and durable. Birds select nutritive food only. There are various seed which wild birds like to eat. Some birds like mixture of various seed while some likes only single seed. There is various qualities of seed available in market. One can but and make them available in back yard which attract birds in major quantity.

One of the seed is Suet which is very easy to open for birds while eating. It don’t have hectic wrapping, it is very easy for birds to eat. It is available in all seasons.  Wild Bird like Sunflower seed, its shell has been removed. It is highly expensive. It is used in Squirrel proof feeder. Wild birds eat this seed highly. Sunflower seed for wild bird is very healthy and nutritive.

Thistle seed are more like by Purple Finches, Mourning Doves and Goldfinches. All these seed are available in India and Africa at most of the laces. Many finches get attracted towards Nyjer. While Siskins do like Nyjer seeds. Birds always find good seed for eating purpose. They don’t like raw seeds; they search for easily available seeds.

Striped Sunflower seeds are highly attracts to bids and it is easily available. Most important fact is that it is very cheap. The shell of the black oil sunflower seed is hard to crack, almost every bird finds it difficult to break. Striped sunflower is generally eaten by Woodpeckers and cardinals.

Cracked Corn seeds catch the attention of various Eastern Blue Birds, Jays, and many other game birds. There are various mixes of seeds like sunflower, peanut, striped, sunflower. Mixes catch attention many wild birds. Cheap Mixes caught attention of very few cheap mixes. It is highly used in Canary mixes and now common food for wild bird. Finches birds get very much attracted towards Nyjer rather than Sunflower seed.

Wild life garden for backyard birds

It gives great pleasure to make surrounding wildlife garden. Normally gardens are restricted for bird and other wildlife. It good practice to laced shrubs and grow tress which can attract birds in the garden. Check out your surrounding for natural resources which can help in to attract birds towards garden. Bring such resources to garden and place them at appropriate location. If you have to attract birds to your garden, it is very necessary to make available all basic things like water, shelter and food in the garden.

It is necessary to make available seed, berry producing trees or shrubs like Washington hawthorn, cherry and viburnum. Birds also get attracted to flowers. Grow different color flower plant. Those plants which are naturally grow used to attract local birds. It is very important to provide food material throughout the year. As seasons get changes birds also used to migrate. Migration demands for change in food material according to seasons. 

According to bird its food used to change. Let’s look at example birds who reside on ground level used to eat worm and insect while other like to eat seed of the floor. There are some birds which like height of shrubs and other like to cover in taller trees.

In garden plants give food as well as shelter to bird.  Bird uses the dense shrub for hiding their self and also for residing. These shrubs also used in winter fro protection from cold.

Water is most important element in every living organism. Once you have made arrangement for food and shelter, it comes to water. If there is water resource nearby to your garden that will be good for bird otherwise put birdbath in the middle of garden or any specific place where bird can see it very easily. It is very important to keep water fresh. In winter season be sure that water didn’t get frozen. One can put birdhouse in garden to attract more birds in the garden. Birdhouse should accompanied by bird feeder which is full of seeds. All these way one can attract bird to wild life garden.
